Fashion Doesn't End when you enter the Office!

Many people fear expressing themselves through their clothing while at work because the question "Do I look professional enough?" always lingers in the back of their mind. Well, let me WAKE U UP!!! This is a new world we live in. So many things have changed. Woman are very much involved in the work field, a black man has become president, Gays and Lesbians are allowed to "Marry" in many states and military personal can even be Out and Proud. These are some examples on how the world has drastically changed. So, if these changes have been made, why can't we express ourselves while sitting behind a cubicle?

Office attire is one of the best ways to express who you are, have fun with clothing and also maintain your professionalism and respect. Business attire is no longer just a PLAIN BLACK pair of slacks, FRUMPY BLAZER that does nothing for your shape, TYPICAL WHITE COLLARED shirt and some over priced 1/2 inched granny penny loafers. No offense to the Grandma's out there! I mean, How can anyone STAND OUT or present professional individualism when ever corner you turn to, you see the same old blazers, pants and shirts. No colors stand out and accessories are non existant. How can you be "YOU" if you look like your neighbor ?

New Trends and Style are definately working their way down the Office Building RunWay.

Let's start with, Office Chic  because this look Is here to stay! A black knee length skirt can go from simple and basic to soft and feminine in a matter of seconds. How? Well, when paired with a soft pastel pink and black chiffon long sleeved blouse, matching 3-4 inch platform heels which not only add height to the smaller ladies, but also provide woman with confidence and just enough feminine sexyiness that isnt trashy, yet classy and just the right amount of detailed accessories, this skirt went from a 3 to a 10!!!!!!! Earrings like the heart shaped diamond studs shown below are the ultimate accessory to complete the OFFICE CHIC look.

Now lets's explore the strong minded working woman who likes to be noticed for her FIERCE AND DARING FASHION. This woman takes risks and expressed herself as much as possible through her clothing. This look includes bold PRINTS like Cheetah and Zebra Stripes and Large STATEMENT JEWELRY that draws attention. Not everyone can pull this look off because it takes confidence and appreciation for INDIVIDUALITY to due justice to this look. I can relate to this look because I too, take chances with my fashion. I don't mind being "NOTICED!"

Black and White is still the "GO TO" color for office attire no matter what generation we're in. But that doesn't mean you can't add FLARE to the very straight forward pallet. For example, Peplum tops are in this season. They are very classy and conservative but still add flirty curves to every woman by accentuating the waist line. Pair this top with a black and while symmetrical knee length pencil skirt, some gold glittery sling backs, a retro black mid sized hand clutch detailed with gold finish, gold linked thick chain, a small gold accent watch and some soft curls in your hair and you have turned the simplest outfit into an eye catcher and a show stopper. All it takes is some pop up accessories to turn something so basic into something so full of personality you basically have it coming out your Ears. Now that is "21st Century" style!  for today's office woman.

Because you work behind a cubicle surrounded by people who consider the same old same old basic clothing, professional, doesn't mean you have to become a "Minion" to your surroundings! You can remain TRUE TO YOURSELF which is the #1 rule in fashion while remaining professional and relevant. Take a Risk with your nextday outfit and you will be sure to leave your mark on that OFFICE RUNWAY!!
